SHED WILL BE CLOSED BOXING DAY AS WELL AS CHRISTMAS DAY, DUE TO CATASTROPHIC FIRE WEATHER PREDICTION

CLOSED BOXING DAY

The Country Fire Authority has declared a Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating for Boxing Day Thursday 26th December. The Stick Shed will be closed.

Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating is the most severe level of fire danger rating. If a fire starts and takes hold, lives are likely to be lost. These are the most dangerous conditions for a fire. Vic Emergency urge people not to travel into any high-risk bushfire area where a Catastrophic day has been declared.

The health and safety of our staff, visitors and volunteers is vitally important, so The Stick Shed Committee of Management have made the decision to close the Shed on days with a Catastrophic Fire Danger to stop travel into the Stick Shed.

We do apologise in advance to anyone that is inconvenienced by this decision, however health and safety will always be more important than inconvenience.
