MAINTENACE WORK AT THE STICK SHED

Not the way they did in the past as captured in this photo of a repair being done by Stick Shed workers in the 70’s.

The latest round of maintenace at the Stick Shed is due to start on Monday September 22nd and run through until November.

THE STICK SHED WILL BE OPEN WHILE THE WORK IS BEING DONE.

Parts of the Stick Shed will be cordoned off but all the displays are being moved to areas that will be open.

This is a chance to not only see the Shed but also watch heritage sensitive work being done on Australia’s most significant wooden building.

With school holidays upon us the timing is ideal for families to come and see the work happening.
