WELCOME VISITORS.
We may have had to cancel Shed Day last Saturday but that didn’t stop a group of former Longerenong students from visiting the Stick Shed as part of their 50th anniversary catch up.
Three of the party had worked as rakers at the Stick Shed in the mid 70’s to help pay their way through college.
Raking gangs had the job of getting the grain out of the wagons. A hard, hot and dusty job.
They were especially keen to catch up with the knocker on their gang Barry Scully a long-time worker at the Stick Shed and Murtoa local.
